The Monserrate, Bogota

Whether you’re athletic or not, the Monserrate is a must-see in Bogota. Uber or Taxi do drop offs at the Tram Station; cars can’t drive up the mountain. But the line for the tram can get really really long… So a lot people people end up just hiking the way up. You can start seeing a view after a short 12 minutes of walking up the Monserrate. The landscape is breath-taking and it motivates you to keep climbing as tired as you get.

Along the way, there were many people selling beverages to dehydrated hikers. They take cash only, but if you don’t have pesos they would gladly take your American dollars.
